Elite Mastermind Forum

The title sounds more impressive but may not be what you’re thinking of. Yesterday marked the launch of Elite Mastermind Forum. The forum is launched by one of my business partner as a reading group. The goal? To read one book per week. The reason? Simple. It is said that the ultimate power in life is knowledge. The more knowledge you have, the more connected you will be and the more you can accomplish. Every successful entrepreneur or person in this world owe their success in one way or another to the knowledge they’ve obtained. People say it’s not what you know but it’s who you know. I don’t believe in this sentence at all! I believe that it’s what you know AND who you know. Afterall, majority of the people in this world are not born with connections, they make them happen. The more you know, the more you can accomplish.

True intelligence in my definition is not how much a person know or how high their grades and test scores are. True intelligence in my opinion is the level of applied knowledge. Talk to a major car enthusiast and they’ll probably be able to tell you everything you’ll ever need to know about any particular car, especially their favorite cars. BUT, if that car ever breaks down and they can’t fix it themselves, it doesn’t matter how much they know about the car, in the end they rely on their mechanic or someone else to fix the issue. Knowledge is only as good as the person applying that knowledge. But you must FIRST accummulate the knowledge before you can do anything.

Elite Mastermind Forum is a place for those aspiring to accomplish great things, particularly in the areas of personal finance, enterpreneurship, personal development, etc… to get together with other people and study what others are teaching through books, etc. The goal is to read one book per week. A lot of people will find this difficult whether due to lack of time or due to their inability to want to read (either because they find it boring or they hate it). But if you want to expand your knowledge, this is the group for you to join in. You can suggest books to read and there will be discussions held to go over the stuff. Check it out.

  2. This is a fantastic idea. One of the problems of modern life is the gradual deterioration of the reading habit. Children are increasingly shunning the reading habit and playing electronic games. This restricts their vision and scope of learning. This forum sounds fantastic and I intend visiting them shortly. Thank you.
